Bramley Elderly Acton is always seeking funds to continue and develop our work supporting local older people to remain healthy, independent and involved.
One of the ways you can support this work is to leave a legacy.
Make a will
You don’t need to be wealthy to make a will. Every adult should have a will, regardless of age or wealth – it is the only way to ensure your wishes are met after your death. Yet 1 in 5 people in the UK die without one, often causing unnecessary complications for their loved ones at a difficult time.
Make a gift
Gifts left to charity don’t need to be large and shouldn’t prevent
you from looking after your loved ones.
Hold a collection
An in memoriam funeral collection can be an appropriate way for family and friends to pay tribute, while raising valuable funds.
BEA strongly recommends that you consult a solicitor about making or changing your will. We will not give you legal advice and do not recommend any specific solicitor. We can give you information to help you find a solicitor.
We can also give you information to help you find a funeral director, who can help you make a funeral plan while you are alive, as well as arranging all aspects of the funeral of a loved one.
Thank you for your support.
You can support BEA’s work in a number of different ways. All support is valuable.
- give BEA your time
- give BEA money
- host a collection box
- give your endorsement
- be a corporate sponsor
- give BEA goods
- organise a fundraising event
- join the BEA Lucky Numbers Club
However you are able to support BEA, we really value your contribution. We will use it to further our aim of supporting older people in the local community.
