Fran Graham

Services & Development Manager

I started working for Bramley Elderly Action in July 2014 as a freelancer, helping to develop and run Bramley Lawn. I became Operations Manager in May 2015, and Services & Development Manager in 2019. I work across the BEA sites in Bramley, and in Headingley with OWLS, to help the team deliver support services and activities. I  also oversee Bramley Lawn and the team there.

My background before joining BEA is in marketing and project management – mainly working with arts and cultural organisations, and with social enterprises/charities. In my free time I co-produce a voluntary project called All Hands on Deck with local resident Marie Millward – an annual narrow boat bonanaza which brings people onto the West Leeds canal.  Originally a Brummie (don’t hold it against me) but moved up to Leeds after studying at Portsmouth University. I’ve definitely found my feet here in Yorkshire and am really looking forward to investing lots more time in the area I live in and love.

I make very bad balloon animals occasionally, if that counts as a hobby – so if you need someone for a party – it’s probably best to google for a professional instead….!
