Stay fit and have fun at Bramley Baths

Bramley Baths have teamed up with Bramley Elderly Action to offer discounts to BEA Bramley Baths logomembers on two new activities. BEA members can take part in Zumba Gold and Core Ball for just £2.00 a session.

Zumba Gold takes place at the Baths from 11.00-12.00 on Mondays, 10.00-11.00 on Fridays and 9.30-10.30 on Saturdays, while Core Ball is 9.15-10.00 on Fridays.

Zumba is a dance fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez during the 1990s. It involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba Gold has been adapted so that older active people can get the benefits and enjoyment of Zumba at an appropriate pace.

In core ball participants work with a large exercise ball to develop and strengthen core muscles and fitness.

Bramley Baths is a community-led, not-for-profit centre for fitness, health and fun, which houses a public gym, swimming pool, steam room and space for community events, meetings and fitness classes. Built on the site of a foundry, the Baths first opened as a pool and public bath-house in 1904.

Bramley Baths is on Broad Lane, Bramley, LS13 3DF.

Bramley Elderly Action has many other groups and activities open to members.
